Welcome to GRILLirious.com.

Over the last few years I’ve developed a passion for grilling and barbecuing.  It gives me great pleasure to be able to share my excitement for this wonderful craft with you.

If you’re wondering about the name GRILLirious, Websters Dictionary might define it like this:

GRILL iri’ ous (adj.) – Marked by uncontrolled excitement or emotion for grilling: ecstatic about barbecue: GRILLirious joy: a backyard full of GRILLirious good friends and family.

I started out grilling with very little knowledge or experience.  I remember my first attempt at barbecued chicken.  By the time I got it off the grill, you might have mistaken it for the charcoal it took to cook it!  What a disaster!

Fortunately, I’ve learned a lot since then.  Now I enjoy the confidence of knowing how to grill the perfect steak or smoke a great rack of barbecue ribs.  I want to share this with you.  I hope you will join me.

Here I am at home fixing one of my favorite meals, Tennessee Pork Tenderloin, wrapped with bacon and basted with a sauce made in part with Jack Daniel’s whiskey.  It’s absolutely delicious.

I’m actually a 56 year old father of two great kids and grandfather of two of the most precious twins on this planet (sorry, I get carried away).   I’ve spent my career in business, currently owning two.  I’ve been very happily married to my beautiful bride of 34 years.  We enjoy nothing more than sitting on our deck with family and friends, next to the grill in anticipation of  a wonderful and tasty meal.
